For over 11 years now, I’ve had the privilege of calling Hotel Bayerischer Hof my home. As a doorman, I particularly enjoy the international interaction with people — not only with our guests, but also with visitors who approach me with questions. Being there with a helping hand for every concern is a key part of my varied and fulfilling role.

For the past two years, I have had the privilege of supporting the team at the Michelin-starred restaurant Atelier as head sommelier. I truly enjoy the daily interaction with our guests and the variety of tasks and settings I encounter every day at the Bayerischer Hof.

I am Jakob
After successfully completing my training at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof, I became a permanent member of our Food & Beverage team. Thanks to my versatile training, I know the house very well in all areas, which is a great advantage when coordinating group reservations and events in our restaurants and bars. The most exciting part is the annual Security Conference, in the planning of which I have been involved for years.
